The Legendary Sound Behind Johnny Cash...

Something is in the air

This is just a little teaser for all the fans out there.  There is a little project in the works that we will be making you all a part of as it unfolds.
TN3 has been in talks with another star of film of music and are in the developing stages of a project that is going to be a lot of fun.
We are all very excited about the doors of opportunity that the Lord is opening.
Take care and stay tuned.

2012 with a Bullet

Wow.....What a way to start 2012.  The first few months have been much of a blur. While it had nothing to do with the music it had everything to do with Bob and Vicky.
They managed to do a lot of fast planning and on the 7th day of March Bob walked his lovely daughter down the aisle and placed her hand in the hand of Mark Keen.
Mark and Scarlett left for a wonderful Honeymoon in the sand, surf and sun and Bob and Vicky have been trying to just relax and think about this new stage of their life.
Montana has all of Scarlett's things gathered and ready for Mark to haul them to their new home.  Yes, all is well in the Wootton household.
Now on to musical things....TN3 is now ready to get this show on the road. They are getting to record a new CD and looking forward to seeing all the fans out on the road.
By the way, TN3 is also very excited about the fact that the Tennessee Titans are looking to sign Peyton Manning....Can this year get any better?
A wonderful son-in-law, Peytong Manning, seeing the fans on the road, going fishing, playing music, seeing the fans.....wait I've already said that.
Anyway, You want to catch the show this year because the band is out to have more fun than ever doing what they love to do the most......family,music and friends.
All is good in the world of TN3....God bless all of you!

Congratulations Scarlett

The Tennessee Three would like to take this time to congratulate Scarlett and Mark Keen on their recent engagement.  Scarlett and Mark became engaged 12-29-2011
while on a trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  Scarlett described it as the "most romantic and perfect day of her life".  Scarlett also said she looks forward to seeing all of our friends
in 2012 and telling them all about Mark.
God bless you both and may he bless you with the very best he has to give!

Goodbye to a Legend - RIP Marshall Grant

08-06-2011

The Tennessee Three is saddened today over the loss of our brother and very dear friend, one of the original members of the legendary sound of Johnny Cash.

Marshall Grant passed away yesterday after suffering a brain aneurysm.  Doing what he loved the most.....telling stories about Johnny Cash and The Tennessee Two, Marshall had just attended the very first Johnny Cash festival in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

In 1955 Johnny Cash, Marshall Grant and Luther Perkins changed music and made history with the sound that we honor and try so very hard to carry on.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Etta Grant and son Randy.  We ask everyone today to play a song today for Marshall and treasure that wonderful sound that we were all blessed to have with us!

Marshall Grant, We love you and will miss you!

God and Al Avery

I just wanted to take the time to tell you about the show that we played in Bernalilo, New Mexico this past week. It was one of the most
stressful and most blessed shows we have played in a very long while.
Due to unforseen circumstances we made the trip without a drummer but when we arrived at the casino the excellent team on the ground
new just who to call. Within 5 minutes I was talking with Al on the phone and he assured me there was no problem he had it under control.
When Al arrived at the venue he was wearing a Dallas Cowboy jersey so I knew it was all going to be okay! lol
Al had worked several years with a band out of Alabama called The Wheels and was very knowledgeable of the sound that we needed.
It was a great show and Al you may not know it but you were sent by God that night!  This just reminds me of what an awesome God
we do serve!
We will be posting pictures of Al in a few short moments. I know that somewhere down the line we will be on this train again
together and we look forward to it.
Al, you and Juanita have a blessed and prosperous Summer and this is one band that loves ya!

Congratulations to Derrick and Kerri McCullough

05/31/2011

The Tennessee Three would like to take this opportunity to wish Derrick and Kerri a very heartfelt congratulations on the upcoming birth
of their first child.  Derrick has been playing drums with the band for two years and we are so excited and happy for the adorable couple.
So we ask all the fans to keep Kerri in their prayers and pray for a healthy seven months and a perfectly healthy baby!

God bless you Derrick and Kerri.....We love you both!

Spring Break in Canada

Well, We have started off 2011 in one of our favorite places.....Canada!  The weather in Tennessee had just turned off warm and beautiful and
it had been so on the way north but then all of a sudden something tragic happened.....SNOW!   Who would have thought that it would snow during Spring break?  Oh well,  We really don't mind. The people are always so awesome up here that it could be a blizzard 24/7 and we would be okay with it.
The shows have been great!  We have only been in Ontario this trip which is kind of new for us.....We have never really played that much in this providence but we are glad to be here now. We will be here another 5 days and then we will go back to Tennessee for a couple of weeks.
By the way, We were in Kanata last night and walked out to the stage to find some dear friends from Spain....Jimmy and Natalia and Marlon came for a visit and we were all so proud to see them.
We want to thank the people of Ontario for making this run so  awesome!  We love our neighbors to the North!
God bless each of you and we look forward to seeing you again!

Hello! We are alive!

01/08/2011

We start off by wishing each of you a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Well, We made it through the Holidays and we so very blessed!  We enjoyed time spent with wonderful family and friends.
We even had a very special Christmas!  IT WAS WHITE!  God sent the prettiest snow I think we have ever seen.

We look forward to this upcoming year and all that it holds. We will be posting the tours for this Spring and Summer soon.
We are very excited to be going back to Washington D.C. and playing at Walter Reed Medical Center for the Wounded Warriors.
This is something very near and dear to us. Our Soldiers give so much and ask so little in return. We are humbled to be asked
to be a part of this awesome event.

We look forward to seeing all of our friends in Canada and the U.K. and to making new ones.
We are very excited about some new events that we will be working in the states this year and look forward to new
adventures as they unfold before us.

We are currently watching the playoffs since we are all avid football fans.
Bob was hoping that Dallas might end up in the playoffs but Santa Claus did not deliver that present....

God bless each of you and we look forward to seeing you soon!
